Into the Woods

Yumiko felt like she was falling. She wanted to scream, but something did stop her fall, something green, thick and sounds began to fill Yumiko's ear.

The sounds of creatures below her, birds, crickets, cicadas. Yumiko slowly began to open her eyes and soon discover that she was in a forest, a large forest area that was darkened by the trees that reached for the sky. Yumiko looked up, wondering how long the tree's went on for. Pieces of sunlight had shined on through the leaves and branches above her and glistened around the area. It was cold and as Yumiko looked down at the ground that was long drop away from her. She had a long way to go before reaching the bottom of wherever she was.

She was tangled up in vines, which she quickly began to untangle from and began to make her way towards one of the two trees where the vines had come from. She quickly crawled to the tree as she needed to hurry or else the vines will break and she'll fall.

And since she just recently discovered her powers, she didn't know how to use them to prevent herself from falling from such a long height.

She slowly began to hear something being pulled, she was wasting time. Quickly Yumiko moved faster until she reached the tree just as the vine broke. "Shit!" She gasped as the she watched the vine broke, but she leaned back on the tall tree that she was now sitting on, sighing in relief that she was safe, at least for now.

Now she needed to get down from the tree and find out where she is. There was a bit of green mist from a far and judging by the sunlight, it had to be morning. "HELLO!?" Yumiko yelled, but there was no response. Leaning forward, she looked around the large jungle.

Abandoned Buildings:

And noticed a bunch of tall and abandoned buildings from a far. She had to be in some sort of abandoned city.

Was she, even on earth anymore?

Akemi, she needed to find him. Maybe this was where he intended to take himself and Yumiko.

"IS ANYONE AROUND!?" Yumiko called forward again, there was no response.

Besides an unknown groan coming from a far, which made Yumiko confused more then relieved.

"What, where did that come from?" Either way, it must mean that someone has to be nearby, she just has to climb down the tree she was on first.

"And more importantly, where am I now?" Yumiko stood up from the large tree trunk that she was on and kept her balance by leaning on the tree behind her.

She had to admit, this was a nice view of an abandoned jungle from where she was at.
